Your wheels are subject to a lot wear and tear: brake dust, potholes, curb rash, salt and moisture, etc. Even with the greatest care, your wheels will eventually start to show their age. If you’re looking for a way to restore your wheels to look brand new again, you’re in luck!
With our new Rim Reconditioning service, you send in your wheels, we resurface and recoat them, then send them back to you! It’s an economical way to have great looking OE rims without breaking the bank.
Pricing
Rim reconditioning starts at $199 per wheel. This covers nearly all wheels up to the mid-2000s Mercedes models that have more intricate designs.
For these more intricate rims, specialty rims, and multi-colored rims, there is a $100 surcharge per wheel due to the extra masking work required when re-finishing.
Shipping
To make the process faster and easier for our customers, we will provide shipping labels for you to send your wheels to us for reconditioning. The shipping cost you pay on your order covers the cost of these labels in addition to the shipping cost back to you once your rims are ready. The shipping cost for the order is $50 per wheel ($25 each way, per wheel).
Considerations
- Not all wheels will be able to be reconditioned. If the rims are sufficiently damaged, it may not be possible to restore them. In this case, we can help source matching wheels to recondition for you
- Before sending in your wheels for reconditioning, you will need to make sure to have the tires removed. Please only send bare metal rims. Additional charges will apply to rims that are sent with the tires still on, and you will not receive the rubber tires back.
